3 ways of intimacy

There are 3 things that people do to express intimacy.

1. eye contact
2. touch
3. talk

For each person, one of these is the most intimate and one is least.

( ...ahnd wahn isss in duh midddow. duh.)

Not even one is better than the other.

No, every one does not need a hug and yes,
eye contact is VERY invasive to 1/3 of people
and,
for some people,
talking is only for after marriage.

Not one or all words will change this.
Is is elemental in each person.

People who wear black and purple find touch non-intimate.
People who wear brights and prints find eye-contact to be non-intimate.
People who wear muted earth tones find talking to be non-intimate.
( some times I mix up the second two. Ah! Dyslexia! joy.)

One cannot predict the second layer or the thir.
It differs in each person.

If two people engaged in eye-contact,
one third of people will assume that they are very intimate
AND BE WRONG.

I share this because ignoring it is causing preventable problems.

Thank you

Often, when people fall 'in love',
an opposite has found an opposite
and it won't work,
or at the beginning of the relationship,
they are doing all three and managing to hit on the good one
by 'blanketing' behavior.

Still won't work out.
