All my friends when I lived in Korea were from all over the "english speaking" world (austraila, New Zealand, usa, england, South Africa, etc).
To teach english in Korea, you need to have a university degree.

Every single person I talked to about 9/11 conspiracies thought they were laughable. Anti-americanism was everywhere there, and many attributed the popularity of 9/11 conspiracy theories to how ignorant and uneducated most americans are. I'm not saying I necessarily agree, but it's definitely the vibe I got.
