The operative contained of the medical examiner's decision is "homicide". All the M.E. has done is render that the cop was not murdered.
Do you believe he should be classified as murdered, even though the assailants had been dead for 48 hours?

Because it is a requirement for the families of the victim to qualify for compensation, such as:

It is qualified as a homicide, directly related to 9/11. Nothing emotional about it, except for that bit about him not being there on 9/11, yet two days later, and working hundreds of hours on the pile along with other people, and becoming ill as a result of being lied to about the air quality.
I think he deserves better. Don't you?
