Yes, they'll know where we are all the the time. *whispers* "don't they already?"

Any ole way...

I've been out bid on ...so far:

The Navigon 2100 2100T

GARMIN STREETPILOT C330

Magellan RoadMate 2200 2200T

I really haven't a clue to what I want. First time out -- I don't want to spend too much--it'll be obsolete next year any way, right? I read reviews and blogs and fogs and chase my tail in a circle like a fat ol dog.....

(Popcorn has nothing to do with this but...it sure looks good. )

Any geeks hanging out with input?

I like seeing elevation cause for some geeky reason I think elevation is cool.
My husband requires (being somewhat technology challenged) ease of use, and a decent sized screen. Text to voice is a must.

Mp3 addition is a bullshit bell and whistle. My car radio works.
My cell phone has a speaker phone and hands free.

That live traffic deal sounds pretty nifty though.

I'll hang out patiently .... especially now that I'm set for life:
I got my hubby the Garmin Street Pilot and he swears by it - he has absolutely no sense of direction at all! It doesn't have all the fancy bells and whistles, cost about $220 on ebay, and it was the best investment I ever made! We don't have much traffic in our neck of the woods, but I guess it would be neat.

Anyway, that's the one I'd recommend. Real user friendly (has to be for my spouse!).
