lets be objective(something the BCS is not)
Boise STate last year deserved to have an opportunity.
last year boise state WAS one of the best teams in the nation, BAR NONE
Boise State last year had one of the highest scoring offenses in the nation, and could have scored against ANYONE last year,
let me repeat that because it's important, BOISE STATE had a VERY HIGH POWERED OFFENSE last year and could have scored against ANYONE
what they did last year is just one reason the BCS is BS
they played the Oklahoma Sooners a team that won easily the big 12 championship(last year and this year), the same oklahoma sooners team that just beat the #1 team in the nation easily and likely at the end of the season should be #2 in the nation for 2007
(and currently if you look at their roster has less talent than last year)
Boise State controlled the game for pretty much the whole game,
the so called "experts" couldn't believe it,
but there it was for everyone to see watching the Fiesta Bowl of 2007
The Boise State defensive line shut down the running game
remarkable since oklahoma had an destined NFL runningback, who now leads the NFL in rushing,
they pretty much shut Adrian Peterson down,
(Adrian Peterson who thought by playing this fiesta bowl(especially due to how well his Oklahoma Sooners had been playing) game he would "run all over these idaho farmers" and position himself in a better position for the NFL draft)
that didn't happen, instead he was pretty much nullified
remarkable because schools like Boise State don't get the opportunity to have big time players recruitment opportunities,
remarkable because their school budget was not even 1/10th of what other big time successful football schools allow to be allocated
so give me a break I can find tons of links from "experts" saying who the best team was in the nation last year and they ALL LOST, (same as what happened this year)
so why should I think this BCS BS system works? its a fact the BCS system doesn't work
argue all you want, fact is BOISE STATE was one of the BEST TEAMS IN THE NATION 2006 LAST YEAR,

here's the facts:
the BCS is too speculative and relies on political college bias, so let them play it out on the field
and each team should have a chance to compete competively so that we don't have another paper champion in NCAA div1 football!!!
