In spite of my outrage, in spite of my certainty that every one of those fucking Republican Senators should be sent packing in disgrace, as much as I think George Bush and Dick Cheney would both do the country and the world a favor by kicking the bucket, I don't think it's reasonable to allude to the "modern Republican party."
