I took a vacation in Italy once. While walking down the street, I told my friend that the USA is the only country in the world where we can walk down the street and criticize our president
He replied, "You can walk down any street in the world and criticize your president."
Seriously, many of us remember "Love it or Leave it!" That left little room for criticizing, no?
