Congress knows they will never get enough votes to override a veto, so they cave. This much I understand but at this point it's the entire body of all of them that I am fed up with. Nobody seems to care about the best interest of the people. Congress, though out gunned acts like they must show up to work even though they don't want to, they have no passion and have been beaten down at every turn.
BTW none of our beloved front running candidates bothered to show for the recent debates in congress leading up to the 555 billion check to Bush. Guess campaigning means more than taking a couple of days off to actually push for something.
