Though I love my dad to death I think he was a real bastard to work with for the nursing staff there. He battled them every step of the way, he can't swallow pills (nor can I) and the staff had a difficult time with that. Then he put his lower partial in a napkin and fell asleep just to wake up and find that they had chucked it. He tried to escape twice. All in all I don't think any of them had much fun lol. Anyway he's going home so I guess they can all be done with it.

Stay on top of this. If he has follow up Dr. appt's make SURE he keeps them. I lost my son to pneumonia last Feb. from a relapse because he refused to go back for follow up. I don't mean to sound bossy...I just wanted to share how important aftercare is.
