I think the entire "broadcasting" environment is EVIL to begin with. If you want sports you have to choose Direct but if you want more international channels you have to choose Dish and if you really want a compressed/squished bull shit faux "HD" signal than go with cable...
I'm seriously about to get rid of the satellite on my home (have had both) and have tried the two cable companies in my area and hate them also...
Anyway I'm getting ready to run everything off the computers. I think I"m going with the
AppleTV thing that will sit on top of the monster
MacMini I purchased a couple of months ago and get one of
these four port HD/HDMI port/switch that also stack on the same system and just split that video signal around the home via the attic.
