I've held off, but I have to say that the very title of this thread offends me. You might as well say "how do people feel about blacks in their community", "how do people feel about jews in their community" as if somehow jews, blacks or gays are not people. Sociologically speaking we are all members of subcultures, (I'm sure that is an antiquated term), in order for parents not to worry about questions from their 4 year olds: How about a little recognition of a person's humanity before you label and group.
