I also may not have had to go through what I went through when I was Ivan the Gorillas keeper. My co-workers were using pot, alcohol, and meth. I collected some of Ivan's hair and told the zoos to have it tested. I also went to the USDA, and Congressman Norm Dicks. Nothing was done and I was fired. I never went to work high, but I did smoke my pot after work. Believe me, no reason to get high with a job working with gorillas. That is a high all on it's own.
