They said they'd stay longer but it would take a while and it wasn't his mess. So I racked up what was left and picked up and shoved into my bin and my neighbors bin everything that would fit filling both. My yard still has several large branches but that has to wait till tomorrow to trim them down. Good choice buying a branch trimmer this past spring.
I am hearing that no one was hurt. So that's one good thing. There have been some pretty bad flooding and a tree fell on a church in Sacramento. Gonna be a big clean up out here. No levee problems and the next round in the system is mostly just cold air. I have plenty of firewood....depending on what day it is and whether they will allow me to burn it.

lol.............. I have a huge (15 1/2 ft circumference) valley oak in the back..... Not much mess this time & no window makers in several years..... But in my front I have several redwoods & I was shocked @ all the limbs covering my yard........ I like the redwoods but they don't blow nextdoor like my oak leaves in the back....
Damn little needles get stuck in the grass till you rake or mow it.......lol
I noticed a neighbor in the back cutting down a huge tree right in the worse part of the storm (wind & cloud burst around 2-3pm)... I guess they were afraid it would fall on the house..........
Nice & quite now & the rest of the storms coming in are supposedly smaller.........
