I got a PS3 (40GB model) a few days ago with "The Darkness". I love it, my TV isn't HD ready but it still looks amazing. I do plan on hooking up to my Dad's 50inch HDTV downstairs though and giving it a go on there. My only problem now is I have finished The Darkness and don't have another game to play at the moment haha. Waiting for Burnout Paradise. But I would definately say update to PS3 if you can. You don't need masses of memory. Each game seems to save at about 2MB so you could have 50 games and barely scratch 1GB (I think that's right). The rest might well be used up by downloads but I don't plan on doing much of that. I do wanna get my PS3 online though for online gaming. PS3 and Blu-Ray seem to be the future. Though DVD's still outsell HD-DVD and Blu Ray from what I gather, they'll do for me for a long while yet.
