Whatever you do, DONT EAT IT!! Most times the brightly colored mushrooms are colored that way as a warning. People who have eaten them and lived to tell about it usually say they tasted great, they never even knew they were toxic. And that "sac" that's visible at ground level is usually a tell-tale sign that the mushroom is poisonous. I would guess it's from the "destroying angel" family. Amanita I believe.
