Fuzzy Zoeller's comment many years ago was a tad racist.

No doubt "lynch" was a poor choice of word.

"Take him out back and hurt his wrists" might have been a little less controversial.


Years ago, Howard Cosell got in a bit of trouble, when he uttered the words "Look at that little monkey run!" on Monday night football. The comment, about Alvin Garret from the Washington Redskins, raised a few eyebrows.

That is, until they did a little checking and found that he used the term "Little Monkey" to describe small, fast runners of all ethnicities.





Tiger Woods is one of those individuals who allows even the racists to sit back, and admire his ability. Same as Michael Jordan. You can't take anything away from their level of play. And...they carry themselves in a professional manner, off the court/course.
