 Will do.
? Emmanuel? I'm kinda of new to "channels" in books (besides that bestseller known as the bible ).
I've had strange dreams at night and then there were the daydreams (that's all I can think to call them)...that were much more...vivid? I'm quite sure I was beginning to see the differences but then "reality" called and I had to stop. Now, I cannot even begin to get back where I was...like I lost the key. So, I'm reading to find what I lost. I must be close though...electricity shows it's approval when I open doors lately.
I like this little verse:
There is a dream inside a dream,
I'm wide awake the more I sleep
You'll understand when I'm dead
I went to god just to see, and I was looking at me
- The Reflecting God - Marilyn Manson
I can't wait to breathe again.
Alas, not to be a pest, but is Odin a channel too (you skipped one part of my questions :-P)?

no odin was a norse king. out of desperation during a period of war - he hung himself upsidedown by one ankle over a pool of water - (the hanged man pose depicted in the tarot) and asked for guidance. the pool beneath him began to bubble, and the rune stones appeared.
after studying comparative religion which lead to ancient oracles, i studied tarot, i-ching, and then stumbled onto the runes. tarot turned me off the more i worked with it because it was about manipulating future events. i-ching was okay, but much too involved, and time consuming for me.
i fell in love with odin. to me, the runes aren't about magically obtaining the power to manipulate future events. they are about seeing the complete picture from ALL angles in terms of other energies at play which may not be apparent to you in any given situation. they give you some advice, but mostly just clarify WHAT IS right now.
i'm not spiritually into manipulating things - becoming a "magician" - which is what tarot is all about. i'm into taking what comes and learning to react and deal more wisely with WHAT IS.
emmanuel, bartholomew, seth, etc. are what i'd call "old school" new age channels.
they were some of the first original spirits to surface in the dawning of that "age" of spirituality. a lot of new ones surfaced after that, but quite frankly, the newer ones didn't pass my personal "sniff test" at the time - and i kind of out grew the need for "mediators" once i got my own personal connection established, via odin and a cosmic creature with no facial features who showed up - kind of like a muse - repeatedly in my drawings, who i originally called "meta". i later realised that meta was my "higher self" and she came to embody me in all my drawings. you know how the buddhists say that our greatest barrier to enlightenment is our failure to see that we ALREADY are enlightened? (the christian version being "the kingdom of heaven is within") well, meta was my enlightened self - and she helped me realize that i already KNEW this stuff... the "me" in my tight shoes.
consequently, i no longer seek meta's input - and think of her as my "gut" or conscience.
after many years of consulting odin through my runes, i got so i no longer needed the runes to consult him to hear him, either. if i'm confused about something, all i have to do is state the situation in my mind and the image of a rune will pop into my head. quite frequently, a rune symbol will surface in an unexpected place (a road sign, a jet trail, the outline of a couple of trees on a horizon, etc.) and i know what it's telling me. about the only time i even touch my runes now is when i've lost something - and i don't even take them out of the bag - i just hold them for a minute, and then i know where what i've lost is. it works EVERY time!!!!!
i still do readings for other people who ask me to occasionally.
but i prefer to give these people a set of runes in an attempt to get them to use them, themselves. i mean, why go to someone else, when the WHOLE idea of all this is to take your OWN spiritual journey? right?
if you're interested in exploring the runes, i would highly recommend the standard set.
it comes with a wonderful little book by ralph h. blum.
the runes are the simplest, and most eloquent spiritual oracle for self discovery i've even found, in my opinion.
but different things work for different people.
the best advice i can give you is look into POSITIVELY EVERYTHING - and then follow whatever rings your OWN inner bells.
