True. And all that conquering nations costs money. Lots of money. As with all Empires, they simlpy after awhile, go out of business/broke. Curiously, Rome borrowed alot of the spiritual practices of the nations they conquered. Which for some reason, I find odd. Did the Etruscans not have Gods? Or did they deem themselves Gods? I'm going to have to brush up on that. I'm endlessly fascinated with history.
