I think Trace Atkins was speaking about our flag in particular and the Confedrate flag both having terrible things done under them, for them and in their name. It isn't a coincidence that many around the world burn our flag in effigy of our nation. so I can agree with DL when ghe says that flag is code for "good lo' boys" and " I'll keep the ******s and the happy persons where they belong." and I DO believe that is Huckabee was saying when he brought up the flag in SC, that issue was put to "rest", in white folks view, 7-8 years ago. How the rest of the folk feel is another story and that is what DL was saying.
