the truly pathetic thing is, this bush administration, true to form, has suddenly noticed that the economy is in crisis. coming, once again, waaaaay too late to the "party", and showing up with a bottle of pear ripple!

personally, i don't think there's a diddly damn thing anyone CAN do to at this point to keep our economy from completely collapsing.

i'm not worried about a recession. haven't been worried about a recession for a long time. because what's been lurking on the horizon like a monster large enough to block the sun isn't a recession - it's a complete collapse our economy and banking system. and it's not like you couldn't see it there... as it's been getting larger and larger on the horizon for a couple of years if you bothered to look that direction.

his legacy will be a crash, a long and painful depression, a couple of failed wars, another generation of mentally ill vets, and the complete destruction of what was once the greatest country in the world.

it's fascinating, and wholly mortifying, to witness the world order change as a result of stupidity, incompetence and greed... as america goes swirling down the drain, and the sun rises on china and india.
