Actually thet were trying to stop me from coming to see him. They were never going to use Ivan's exhibit to put the new gorilla in. It was all a lie to me. I did get to see him, and he was in his exhibit. That was back in 2004. They would have to tell us if he died. It's in the contract I believe. His skeleton will sent to the Burke Museum in Seattle. I'm aganist it. I think they should build a bronze staue of him here in Tacoma at the County City building (the jail and courts) with his ashes in it. Ivan is an icon here in Tacoma so if they don't tell us there will be hell to pay! Ivan was raised as a human and rode motorcycles and so on. The name of the store he lived in was "B&I Circus Store"
