(Middleton, TN 1/23/2008) A Hardeman county pastor is behind bars on sex charges. The accusations are graphic.

It happened in Middleton, TN.

Last month, Pastor Brian Riley was accused of fondling a teenage girl. He posted the $50,000 but was recently re-arrested after investigators discovered hundreds of sexually graphic images on his computers.

They found a total of 800 sexually explicit pictures on three different computers. Two from his house. One, from the church where he worked.

Sources tell News Channel3 the teenage accuser who had him arrested in the first place, was a 15-year-old foreign exchange student who was living at his house.

"It's something going through my mind since we heard about it, I cannot get it off my mind. Its just hard to believe," said parishoner Liz Bell.

The investigation started last month after a foreign exchange student living at the Riley home accused him of sexual battery.

According to court documents, the 15-year-old told police Riley rubbed baby oil on her legs, stomach and buttocks numerous times. She says it happened while Riley's wife took his daughter to dance class and they were home alone.

She says she told him 'No,' but he said 'It was okay.' She also says the preacher put his hand down her pants and fondled her on top of her clothes.

We're told Riley's family still lives at the parsonage. No one answered the door when we knocked. Parishoners say he preached at 3 different Hardeman county churches.

Wednesday night they gathered to talk about the stunning allegations.

"It's a shame it really is, for someone to throw his life away the way he did," said Bell.

She thought Riley was a good pastor. She says he was particularly good at getting young people to join the church.

"We were getting a good many young kids that we didn't have, it was building up because of him," she said.

Riley's behind bars on a $500,000 bond. So far he's only been charged in Hardeman county, but the feds are now investigating because of the kiddie porn that was found. It's certainly possible he may face federal charges as well.
