Too many religious types are brainwashed beyond reason. They actually say you must achieve the impossible, or you will spend eternity in hell. They tell you, it is God's way. How are we, beginning creatures, knowing little about little, supposed to live the perfect, sinless lives demanded? How could we even begin to live these lives when we don't even know what constitutes perfection?
They tell us, "The Bible explains.". What if i've never read the Bible? What if i've never even heard of the Bible? Under this one condition, it means i'm basically guaranteed eternal hell. Or maybe if you've never heard of the Bible or read the Bible, you are excused? If this is the case, what kind of sick bastard would ever spread the Bible?
The guy this article is about seems alright. Much closer to the correct path. God isn't really found in a book. God is found in your hair... and in ice cream.
