Here's another book that was GREAT! Bart Erman's one of the foremost theologians of our time, and one of the few people on the planet who can read coptic. He's studies the oldest known texts of the Bible and found a lot of scribes have intentionally (probably pursuant to who ever hired them to copy it) and unintentionally added and subtracted texts, and it gives a history of just how we ended up with the 4 books of the Bible we have that is really amazing:
