I started a thread about after I saw it. I didn't care for it but I think once it comes on cable and I see it a couple times it's the type of movie that will grow on me more. I was just very bored in certain parts and some of the songs I didn't like (the one Johanna sings about the birds- ick!). I did like Johnny Depp and Alan Rickman together which was awesome.

yeah, that was semi-mortifying but they had to explain her story in song. i wished it had a monty python moment there and alan rickman burst in and interrupted her. "no, no...we'll have none of that bloody singing of you being a caged bird!"
