Burton and Bonham Carter have a couple of kids but she's always marrying Johnny Depp in the movies.
What's REALLY going on here?

In high school an english teacher showed us a cam recording of the stage play. Nothin' more hysterical than watching a barbar sing a cheery romantic song while slicing another guy's throat and not fall out of tune or miss a beat. Angela Landsbery played the meat pei cook working under his barbarshop and- well... you know, helped.

The one with Ben Kingsley is also really good.

The Burton version is going to be veeeerrry gory. Hooray for Burton because if this was put in the hands of a new director or a "team player" like Schumacher it would've been another half baked broadway to screen PG-13 musical. Tim Burton brings such a wicked surreal style to his musicals and the singing never seems out of place. I can only think of four other live action movie musicals that I can stomach and they are Colma: The Musical (a really cool movie made by a bunch of kids and produced with very little money. It's rough around the edges but fresh as hell). Reefer Madness: The Musical, Dancer in the Dark, and John Cameron Mitchell's Hedwig and the Angry Inch.
