Letterman and Leno to return tonight

Dave has a deal with the WGA through his Worldwide Pants company and Leno doesn't.

CBS says that the first guest on tonight's Late Show with David Letterman will be the actor Robin Williams, followed tomorrow by Ellen Page, the Canadian star of the art-house movie hit Juno. NBC’s Tonight Show With Jay Leno has so far announced only the Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee as its first guest
Here's a shot of Jay showing his support for the writers. Now he's cavied and his (unannounced) guests will have to cross the line.

I'm just glad they're back on - writer's strike gone on long enough.

Same here, I am never up late enough to watch these shows anyway but when Jon Stewart comes back I'll be all over it. The question is I guess is how they will handle guests and potential heckling from writers.

That should be interesting .-

I wonder how hucabee scum's appearance will come across, lol

Leno sometimes give little digs to his guests as does Letterman.

Is Huckabee on Leno? Wow, how fitting for that scab to cross the line, perfect! During election time I am sure he won't have much trouble getting candidates on. In the mean time Letterman will have at least one A lister (Robin Williams) to start out with.

I don't know why but I got a rerun of Leno. I don't watch it but when he started making jokes about Hillary showing cleavage and brought out Heidi Klum I knew it wasn't Huck.
Dave was pretty good with the manic Robin Williams.

That was hilarious when Letterman came out with that beard - I'm not sure I'm fond of it though.

Bill Maher was good on Letterman - he was coming down hard on the pharmaceutical companies - he is concerned about health and thinks we are all being poisoned - he is mostly right.

I think he is going to get it shaved on the show, he's done that before too I believe. Robin Williams came out there and tore him up about the beard, it was hillarious.
