Meh, I don't like when people babble on about God and stuff on TV in interviews. Feels like they're forcing it on you. Especially Rock Stars who have no doubt done a bucketload of drink, drugs and girls. It's double standards and it gets on my nerves. Carlos isn't the master I was lead to believe him to be in my very young years.

Carlos is just a man..... He is not perfect... He was a good blueZy player..........

But I have to say after that interview I don't think as much of him.......

I saw a video when I was about 9 or so of him jamming something live in a studio. I thought he was amazing, but for some reason I never heard him play that well again and he seemed to turn into a bit of a weird kinda sleazy guy who seems content to play 2 licks in every song and still act like hes the man. He isn't what he was and he never will be again. Maybe if he had died young like Hendrix he would have been immortalised in his best days. But of course that would have been a genuine tragedy just as it was for Jimi and anyone who dies so young. Lost my point a bit here, Carlos is great at what he does but what he does lately is something I can personally live without quite nicely. But im a guitar player, im looking at him possibly from a different perspective than some of you.

He certainly knows more than two licks. And double standards would be If he was still boozing and whoring, IF he ever did, and was extolling a different lifestyle. But having done wildness in your youth and seeing the wisdom of moderation or whatever is not a double standard. It is called growing up.

Fair enough, I still don't care much for the guy. Can certainly appreciate what he has done in the past. What he seems to wanna do in the present is something I have a bit less admiration for.
