Uh....this was not at all what I saw on that video. He was smiling the whole time and bearly reacted at all.

Then, after a commercial break, Maher was interrupted by a separate audience member, shouting a more ambiguous message: "GE, NBC, Put Impeachment on TV!". Too bad he didn't handle the nuisance like he did on his own show.
I stand corrected, lol.

I never watch Leno so I didn't see it except on the news. I wouldn't say he threw a fit. He doesn't like hecklers as he proved when he participated in throwing some loudmouth out of his show a few weeks ago. But throwing a fit is a little out of character.

Unfortunately he(bill) is losing my attention/admiration with his new shtick.

I didn't see the show either.

Thanks for the clarification of the yelling. I couldn't understand what they yelled. It made Maher angry and Leno had to brush it off - if he had let Maher continue he may have got up and stormed the audience again.

Uh.... I guess you just needed to watch it on tv - from beginning to end - he wasn't smiling at the beginning.

The video doesn't show the whole thing - he got angry at first - but maybe 'throwing a fit' was too strong a description. He wasn't throwing punches or objects.

You're right. I saw the video you are describing and he was getting pissed, much like he did on his show last season except he stayed seated.
