I believe Michael Emerson won an Emmy for that role. It was good to see him nominated last year for Ben so hopefully he'll win next time.

Well see I think the people on the boat are the "evil" ones. Ben is using the four people for his own gain or at least he will now that they are there. I feel like Ben manipulated the people on the boat from within in order to make sure they sent these four people. Maybe I'm giving him to much credit but I feel like he is capable of anything at this point.

And I agree he is the best character ever and if anyone is going to win an award for Lost it should be him.

Terry O'Quinn won last year for Locke so I can't complain too much! Ben and Locke are my 2 faves on the show.

I just think they're done with the "It was Ben all along *dun dun duuun*" angle.

You can only do that once, or you annoy the fuck out of people.

Wanna get your mind blown? Lemme tell ya how it's gonna go down...

They're going to humanize Ben this season. They're going to do a couple flashbacks to younger Ben with that Chick who made him the dolls. They're going to make him relatable again.

Why? Because they're going to make him NOT the bad guy anymore. Their going to shift his role from Evil-Manipulator MCgee, to a guy that made some really tough choices and did what he had to do.

What's funny is after tonight we may have a whole new outlook on things. I heard the writers strike is ending soon? Yes? No? If so then I can't wait till week 9 when they start to answer some questions.

The show runners returned to work on monday (they're in charge of coordinationg production)

They will finish up this season with 5 additional episodes (3 short of the original 16)
