LOVED THE FINALE. It was a 2 hour adrenaline rush. When it ended I just wanted more and couldn't sleep! So glad Desmond finally found Penny. Whoever thought we would be rooting for the "Others" - man they kicked some ass big time on Keamy's team. Ben - awesome as always. And I'm sure next season will explain why Locke was off the island(???).

I'm curious to know exactly what was so bad it would make Locke, of all people, leave the island.

I was curious to know how his paralysis was cured after he left the island, I was under the impression he didn't want to leave because he thought his would be wheelchair bound again.

Locke left the same reason Tom and Ben left the island in the past. To protect the island or do it's bidding. The six were brought to the island along with the rest of flight 815. The island was not finished with them. They had not yet served their purpose like Michael.

The biggest mystery to me has nothing to do with Locke. The biggest mystery to me is Erin. The psychic made Claire go to island by making her take that flight and told her that NO ONE but her could raise the baby.

Yet Christian and her left him in the jungle. Even Charlie tells Hugo that Jack and them are not supposed to be raising Erin. We know Charlie is like Christian right? If the psychic knew that ONLY Claire could raise the baby and even Charlie is telling Hugo that they are not supposed to be raising Erin then why would Claire and Christian leave him in the jungle? Why would Claire tell Kate in a dream not to bring Erin back to the island?

To me Erin is the biggest mystery.

that said - AWESOME episode. glad one couple (Penny and Des) got a happy ending. Jin dying was agonizing. glad the mercenaries bought it - hated Ben saying "so" when Locke said you killed everyone on the boat. shows he's still an asshole with his own agenda. he may be riviting watching, but he's still an asshole.
i looked at all the others they showed in the camp, and where are the kids from flt 815 that they stole from the other side of the island ? what happened to those kids ?
Micheal tried to make up for his past sins at least. died a hero, buying time for others to get off the boat.
loved Sawyer jumping out of the heli - what did he say to Kate ?????
and what happened to Juliet and Sawyer when the island disappeared, appatently sinking into the ocean ???

Whatever Sawyer said to Kate, it was what she was referring to a couple episodes back when she was sneaking around when Jack and her were living together that she had to do something "she promised she would do for Sawyer". I don't know about the other ladies here but I would take Sawyer over Jack any day! Whew, the scene of him coming out of the water shirtless...yummy!
