No clue. Strange though they keep having these things. The more narrow the 'profit' parameters become, the more similar the music. What if one year you get an entire list of low-quality music? You have to give the award to someone, even though the music is awful.

Business and art only mix in favor of business. Art gets squeezed until it becomes as thin as a toothpick.

Most do not understand the difference between selfishness and selflessness. They think they can either improve the lives of others, or improve their own lives. This is false. We all live together. This means, if the lives of others are poor, you will suffer. Maybe you get rich, but the music suffers.

In other words, you can get lots of money but no good music. Why not get less money and better music? If you do not listen to music, why get involved with the music industry?

Who won best new artist? I was hoping Feist would get it, but than again, it's strange to see an artist you've known since obscurity break out in such a huge way.

Nope, I was hoping for Feist too. It was Winehouse. She just doesn't do anything for me. I don't get her music. It's not all that innovative to me, or even good. But that must just be me.

yes, it's his second:

HOLLYWOOD - Barack Obama trumped his presidential rivals Hillary Clinton and John McCain on Sunday night--by winning a Grammy Award.

The Democratic Illinois senator won the award for his narration of audio book The Audacity of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream.

He managed to beat former presidents Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter, who were also nominated.

It's not Obama's first Grammy--he won the same award in 2006 for his 1995 memoir Dreams from My Father.
