Gone Baby Gone

Ben Affleck directs his brother Casey in the best and most convoluted crime story I've seen in many years.
Morgan Freeman, Ed Harris, Amy Ryan, Michelle Monaghan and Amy Madigan are all outstanding.
Ben Affleck wrote the screenplay also.
At first it seems to be a common child kidnapping but turns so many corners you'll never see the conclusion coming.
Casey Affleck plays the boyish detective with the Catholic guilt complex. He has to do the right thing.
This is a great movie. To tell anymore would spoil it.

Amy Ryan was on Letterman last week. What a cutie! Hope she wins the Oscah...

Thanks for the review Djack!
I will rent it. Sounds great.

Ben Affleck is kind of jerky sometimes in his life, but I guess he is really smart and talented as a writer, director, etc.

I like his brother.

Morgan Freeman is always good.

Ben was good in that movie about the guy who played Superman. Obviously he should direct.
I think he's a good actor but got some bad advice. Can we say J Lo?

I read the book after the movie came out and was disappointed in it.

I do want to see the movie.

I agree with whoever said above the Ben Affleck was good in Hollywoodland. It has taken a long time for his career to recover from his romance with Jennifer Lopez.

Gone Baby Gone is based on Dennis Lehane book. I didn't think book was as good as Mystic River, but I can see how it could be an interesting movie.
