What would you do?
I can't help watching ABC's "What would you do" ...I don't want to, but can't bring myself to change the channel. Anyone else watch it? The most telling thing this show has "revealed" (as if we didn't already know) is that racism and discrimination against black is still pretty strong despite all the progress made throughout the decades.

I can tell you what I wouldn't do. I wouldn't go on national television and humiliate myself and spouse for any amount of money. These people that get for these shows are pathetic wretches of humanity. They deserve ridicule and our collective scorn. That goes for the shows as well. Why not just stick your head through a hole in the wall and let people throw rotten eggs at you for money, no difference.
Can you tell I don't watch any "reality" TV? #2222

Haven't seen the show...and I guess it isn't a takeoff on the board game I bought my niece years ago.
It has a bunch of "real life" bad situations, and you choose/learn how to get yourself out of the mess.

There was one dude who admitted to making racial comments about his asian girlfriend's parents. They totally stole the idea from Stern, tho. |

LOL...this isn't a reality show. It stemmed from 20/20 I think - basically it's a hidden camera that put people in certain predicaments to see what they would do or how they react (e.g. a man being violent with his gf in public, a waiter flirting with a gf, helping someone in need, seeing kids vandalize someone else' s property, etc). I agree, reality tv is NOT reality and it's pretty disgusting. |
