what's in a nail?
to john bisbee, nothing but potential....i went outside about an hour or so ago to sit in my car for a few minutes and enjoy the weather...i was listening to all things considered on npr and they were interviewing an artist who, for the last 20 years or so, as done nothing but sculptures with nails....i thought it was vary interesting so i came in and looked him up, here are some pictures of his current exhibit at the portland museum of art...scratch that, i have no way to link pictures from my work computer, but follow that link for some very interesting shots of his nail sculptures....
also of interest: nailing the art of being an artist
