Lawrence Welk's "Modern Spiritual" - One Toke Over The Line
I saw this on another forum and thought some of you here would get a kick out of it. Hearing the Brewer and Shipley song "One Toke Over the Line" and believing it to be a gospel song because of the line "Sweet Jesus", Lawrence Welk had the song performed on his television show. I guess the drug references were a little too well hidden.
