Ouch...glad I missed it, I wasn't real happy with the mix on the "Tribute" album either, most of us got it for Randy Rhodes and there are places where you can hardly hear him through the Ozzified high gain vocals...

Speaking of old MTV, remember a band called Ziggeraut? They were the first band I ever saw on MTV.

I wish I could find a good copy of Ozzy doing Mississippi Queen...definately not one of his better days...
Howe was still with them when they did Drama . I suppose that's the main body of work I'm referring to when I say I like Horn with Yes. I really liked Drama. Of course I could be attributing too much of that too Horn. But I think with out Anderson, the album (for me anyway) not being a complete disappointment was a pleasant surprise.

Why did you have to prompt someone into finding that Ozzy cover of Mississippi Queen. Ewwww, not one of his finer moments. Although still better the Celine of the thread subject. I don't know, there's something about Oz that just makes anything he does seem passable, and legitimate. Probably because he is who he is.

I'd heard it once on the radio the other day, and just couldn't bring myself to hear it again. That was an ugly cover, trying to get back to the meat of the thread. I always liked Howe, but 90125 is a great album in its own right. That said, I still prefer the Howe & Anderson era...
