Itune Bargoons!

For those of you squares, like myself, who won't download illegally, are there any particularly good deals you've seen on Itunes? Where you get a lot of great tunes for not a lot of money.

I found one about a month ago: it's the sound-track to the movie "i'm not there". If you're a Dylan fan, it's a MUST. Virtually all the covers are pretty good, and there's a LOT that's not included in the movie. I got over 40 songs for 14.99! Sweet!

The world of nat king cole is also a pretty great collection. 52 songs for 28 bucks and NO DRM!

Yes, i like dylan and nat king cole. You want to make something of it, punk?

Put an NKC CD in my car yesterday for the morning commute. Slid it in right next to Friday's commute CD, MotorHead.

now that Scissor Sisters song I stole is bugging me: once in a while, I DL. very long while. maybe I'll buy a Scissor Sisters hits CD?

you probably know about this but just in case -

Amazon.com: : MP3 Downloads

paid $35 for this (mp3 album is $14.99 )
Amazon.com: The Platinum Collection: Blondie:...Amazon.com: The Platinum Collection: Blondie:...
is $9.99 a good deal?
Acadie

Daniel Lanois has worked with Bob Dylan, Robbie Robertson, U2 (etc), as both a sound engineer as well as a musician.
YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.
*some songs are in both french & english, but it's such an outstanding album, you don't need to be bilingual to appreciate them[listen to Jolie Louise & you'll understand] -- if you like the genre of course*

I don't pay for anything.

Hmmm......... let me think.

Have the joy of music in abundance or not because I can't afford that much.

Life's too short and music is too beautiful and inspiring to worry about what lawyers think about the subject.

Well, you can't knock the guy for wanting to legally download it. I've heard you can also get them pretty cheap from walmart.com.

No, I dont knock him for that.

I just hate the music industry.

I'd like to see the members of Metallica (especially Lars) homeless and living on the street.

I didn't mean anything disparaging, I was just expressing how I feel.

If it makes some one comfortable to abide by every copyright law then so be it.

But for me I need a music collection that exceeds my budget for it. Now more then ever.

For a few years in my late 30's and early 40's I didn't listen to music as much as I should have.

I realize now my spirit was more hollow during those times.

I don't knock those for downloading it ilegally either, I am an equal opportunity downloader But you have to admit that it's gotten pretty cheap and easy to buy music these days.

99 cents per song is not cheap IMO.

if you download an entire album, it will cost you as much as buying the CD.
