I'm still mystified. I re-registered back there just to see what it was like, but why go back? What's over there that's not here? Bill Maher? I don't think Bill drops in all that much (ever?), so what's the draw?

Honestly, I think some people like having the "audience" that BM's board provides. Personally, all those "guests" reading everything I rant about has always given me the creeps, particularly after that Steve Irwin thing when my posts, along with a couple of others were being quoted all over the web.

That made me feel a lot less anonymous that I wanted.

Folks, I just have to say, Eric's been a prince about all these links to the BM's "official" board, more than a prince. He's provided us all a place for all our ornery asses to post together when BM's people didn't give a flying hoot about any of us (and still don't IMO), so I hope you all give him due respect for that. Really, there's no justification for getting all snarky about it.

Come on dude!! Your'e a rock star!! With a much better board and your'e actually around. Several times on the other board you could watch someone meltdown and spam for hours on end.

This is a great board. The format of the BM board is terrible.

this board is BOTH well organized AND well run!
it's user friendly and well, it just ROCKS!!!!

there's absolutely no reason to miss bill's bb,
and put up with THAT unholy mess of a forum -
other than perhaps missing some folks who haven't found this place yet!

I've re-registered there, but for some reason it seems like I'm a stranger. It doesn't feel like home anymore...I haven't even posted once. I like it here much better. I've been to a lot of boards but the format seems so strange to me..that's how the BM boards feel to me now. A nice place to visit but one wouldn't want to stir the pot there
