Speaking of rude, they took down BM's site right after I specifically requested they do a global email to inform members the site would be down for an extended period of time.

Did anyone get such notification? Rude. Just plain rude. I'm not going back because I think loyalty to Bill should have been valued more by their disenfranchised administrator.

The way that celeb hosting service treats users is something that should be avoided by all celebs.

The result is, I run out of good things to say about Bill Maher's Official Site, so I just won't say.

IMO, that official board is doing more harm than good. He'd be better off with just a photo on that URL. The best would probably be a redirection to the HBO Real Time board; that's an honest opinion from a loyal fan.

You can't treat Maher fans like dipshit hip pop celebs; that attitude simply does NOT fit.

I've been around Maher sites for awhile and I never spoke against Bill Maher. Hey, even the HBO board isn't exactly all that, but I walked away happy. Other spin-off boards, including this one, are pretty good too.

I said a lot of shit, but never any that cuts it through like this. I always try to find good things to say as a fan, but not in this case.

Seriously, who here thinks the service provider of Bill Maher's Official Site is doing a good job?

Ive had some of my very original and snappy posts, one liners, and zingers repeated on television by talking heads. There is no doubt that the people who write material for the taking heads an even the talking heads themselves troll message boards for ideas.
