Well that's a very good point. Mark Miller came to us from Bill's HBO boards, along with some others, recently, and they fit right in with the rest of us a-holes.

well, i still don't like this format, think it's a mess, and won't come back here unless it gets straightened out.

and it doesn't look like i'm alone, as people aren't exactly beating the doors down to come back here. i think people, like me, check it out, and turn their nose up at the confusing and goofy categories, and leave.

you have to admit, that had the old format been used - almost everybody would be back and posting by now. and the proof that this board is a mess is in that fact.

Cognitive dissidence doesn't become you miss admin. This new format is a bust and not as user friendly as the vBulletin we used before. This is just like the first reformating of the board and you chose the worst text color possible for the the background and then dragged your feet to fix it when the forum was up in arms. Also removing the names of old favorite areas and increasing the sizes of boards that didn't get as much traffic isn't helping.

Give the people what they want since a lot of us are very turned off with the 'improvements' put here.


And on a personal observation I still think you show a lot of passive aggression and contempt when you put your reply above the quote. I can't do anything about that, but it's just another greivence.

Two things for ya -

1. We'll manage to bump along without you as well, so happy surfing. You were never happy about anything on the other board either and nothing about you has changed to any demonstrable extent. Feel free to move on if you wish, fire regulations prevent us from holding a candlelight vigil to note your absence.

2. I put my responses above the quote to be absolutely certain the responses are seen. Call it what you will, but until you send me a copy of your Ph.D. in Psychology, you know what I think of your "psychological" observations of me and my personality.

Hi R! Mom is in a rehab facility for awhile, until she gains enough strength and her back heals enough to stay by herself during the day. She was really upset about going, but realized it's for the best. I told her if she works hard she'll be better than before when she comes home, plus she's very determined to make progress. I hope it works out for her.

You know, this place feels like home now. Pretty soon, we'll be asking "what was the name of that old board where we used to post?".......

That sounds like the old mod with a new name. The board needed a mod so they appointed a Nazi who banned anyone who objected to ANYTHING.

When I told her I didn't think that was any way to run a board I found myself banned. As if there aren't millions of boards around.
