must have thought i bitched a little too much about their new format.

i had my new account set to automatically keep me signed in. when i tried to post, today, it asked me to sign in. since i couldn't remember my new account's password, i tried to have my password sent to me, and got this message:

"Your account has been manually deactivated and is only able to be reactivated by an administrator."

so fuck them!

it'd be different if i had been REALLY going off about the format,
but i guess you can't criticize anything there anymore.

well, i still don't like this format, think it's a mess, and won't come back here unless it gets straightened out.

and it doesn't look like i'm alone, as people aren't exactly beating the doors down to come back here. i think people, like me, check it out, and turn their nose up at the confusing and goofy categories, and leave.

you have to admit, that had the old format been used - almost everybody would be back and posting by now. and the proof that this board is a mess is in that fact.

Cognitive dissidence doesn't become you miss admin. This new format is a bust and not as user friendly as the vBulletin we used before. This is just like the first reformating of the board and you chose the worst text color possible for the the background and then dragged your feet to fix it when the forum was up in arms. Also removing the names of old favorite areas and increasing the sizes of boards that didn't get as much traffic isn't helping.

Give the people what they want since a lot of us are very turned off with the 'improvements' put here.


And on a personal observation I still think you show a lot of passive aggression and contempt when you put your reply above the quote. I can't do anything about that, but it's just another greivence.

Two things for ya -

1. We'll manage to bump along without you as well, so happy surfing. You were never happy about anything on the other board either and nothing about you has changed to any demonstrable extent. Feel free to move on if you wish, fire regulations prevent us from holding a candlelight vigil to note your absence.

2. I put my responses above the quote to be absolutely certain the responses are seen. Call it what you will, but until you send me a copy of your Ph.D. in Psychology, you know what I think of your "psychological" observations of me and my personality.

i stand by my statement - if the old board had not been replaced by this new monstrosity, there would be about 10 times the number of posts on it as there are by now.

i sure wasn't impressed enough to do much more than peek in to see if it was getting better - and it's obviously getting worse instead of better...

You see folks they have never been able to really control the BMBB thanks to BM open policies but they never leaned how to have BM open policy and get control so this is a an attempt to finally win.

I gave my farewll there several months ago and came back to help SF and now she's here with my other friends.
