It is important to distinguish who is returning to the air by striking a separate deal with striking writers...and who is returning to the air without the writers.

Writers = Labor

Labor gains together or Labor loses separately.

The only late night host who is thus far confirmed, on our audio virtual Bible TV, to have reached an independent if temporary contract with his writers is David Letterman.

I always liked David Letterman.

He got screwed back in the day. He remembers from whence he came.

In these final days before the Iowa caucuses...quick, in a hundred words or less, explain primaries and caucuses and the differences between them...I'd like to know where each of the candidates stands on this.

How 'bout, for a change, we focus on American Labor instead of Iraqi Law Enforcement?

It's a simple, straightforward question.

In the main, chiefly, overall, in the protracted Writers Strike, do you stand with Labor or do you stand with The Studios?

It's not rocket science.

It's Hollywood.

Now that it is established that the American People are more concerned about the economy than about terrorism, the American People will do themselves a huge fucking favor by asking these candidates whether they side with the writers, which is to say Labor, or with the studios, which is to say Big Money.

In the case of these writers, there is no question that the studios have the writers over a barrel even AFTER shortchanging them these many years of their reasonably equitably due. NOT TO MENTION THAT THE STRIKE HAS EFFECTIVELY KEPT CONSEQUENTIAL DISSIDENT VOICES OFF THE AIR AS WE HEAD INTO CAUCUSES AND PRIMARIES.

An equivocator, in this matter and at this time, is NOT a candidate of the People, but of Big Money.
