I guess it's also because I had some good questions, although then again. I probably am getting greedy since I've had 4 questions asked on-air already.
Hi BlackK,
What questions were those?

Great show! I'll watch it again.
It was a great show! Savage was excellent, and Hughley was, as he alway is, most excellent! The "code for 'We hate ******s and happy persons'" line was killer!

Agreed about Bill's suit. Reminds me of that shiny green suit in Good Morning Vietnam. Needs to go...

Since I'm francophone, I hope you don't mind me telling you you that desole is one word. It's the word (to be) sorry.

Cheers.

I know the back story to this.
In the French presidential elections, they have two days of voting. The first day narrows down the candidates to the top two, from all parties.

The run-off election, usually three weeks later, determines the winner.

In 2002, the lefties split their vote among too many left leaning candidates, and the popular, left leaning Prime Minister, Lionel Jospin, did not make the cut. The two run off candidates were the right leaning sitting president Chirac, under corruption charges, and a David Duke kind of character, Jean-Marie LePen. So the Left got shut out, and were very disappointed.

That phrase was on a tag in knapsacks, etc, by a small French manufacturing group. It reflected the morose sentiment of the lefties of France, who were shut out of the run off election.

Real Time is on again.

The country bloke in the black hat is AMAZED
that the 'news' is focusing on the economy.

1. Did he not know that the WAR is EXPENSIVE
and has been going on for a few years now?

2. Does he not know that the 'news' changes subjects
very often for ratings?

Wow! That is an impressive level of stupid!

Another crap show. The score is: writers 2, HBO 0.

That documentary footage of the drunk redneck isn't anything we couldn't find on youtube, and it's not even close to being a substitute for New Rules.

DL only showed up because his fucking show, Def Comedy Jam, is on right afterward. He was being a team player. Adkin, usually a hoot on Politically Incorrect, said probably a total of 12 words on REal Time Friday. Forget that moderate, conservative journo's name, or whatever he was, but he brought nothing to the discussion other than his perpetual smirk. He actually made me miss Tony Snow.

Being that most regular tv. blows ass, Real Time is the biggest stage for the strike. HBO is known for it's intellectual content, and one of it's biggest shows is taking a beating. They're lucky this contract didn't end while the Sopranos final season was in production. Talk about avoiding a hindenburg.
