I guess they might as well shut down The Wire boards now because the next thing Cleo will rant about will be grammar.

I truly hate what that place has become. I really don't know what happened to Toni but when Admin17 came to be that was the end of it. They banned Trock, they banned Don. And is it true they banned Matoia? He's a nut, but a harmless nut.

It got truly insane. When they started having thread buddies to "assist" people posting, that was it for me.

There was a time when it was just a lot of fun, but not anymore.

Mat is fun to hang around around with all the time.

I'm not sure why I was banned then unbanned again, long time ago.

I didn't know they banned Don and others.

I don't know much about these things; I like to think I'm on good basis to interact with all posters to just chat about the usual and a little nonsense sometimes. It's nice to be loved, but I really don't team up with any group or particular poster(s); that'll defeat the purpose of my participation.

All I can only confirm is the fact I haven't been banned yet, and I'm one of the worst offenders on that profanity deal.

I keep trying to care, but RT can go rot.

Mat was great!! In pain and often heavily medicated, but his posts were always a hoot and often had gems in them if you looked.

Lets hope RT doesn't rot, because I really enjoy that show, like many here and there as well.

Mat was funny as hell when he was posting. He always had some very good things to say.

I was referring to the RT boards, I should've been specific.

Bill Maher's RT show is a completely different animal. I love his show, and have watched it from the beginning.The show suffers from its own success, kinda like 'Talk Soup' back when it had unfettered access to clips then became successful slamming those clips and thus loss access.
Real Time is the worst of his shows. The bits and satellite are distracting.
The T.V. version was better formatted and had better guests. The content was weakened by sponsorship and broadcast rules, and Maher's usual pushing the allowed envelope caused his cancellation.
The Comedy Central version was spectacular. So good his reputation was made and his shows and formats have coasted every since.
IMHO as always.

RT has evolved. The Rat Pack (as I liked to call them) have split for parts unknown, and that's a good thing. RT is now a balance between left and right. There's even an "Opinion of the Left" thread to counter balance Rash's "Opinion of the Right" thread, lol.
