I campaigned for her last year for Senate. Was just disappointed that she didn't realize how much MoveOn helped her.

She did well on Real Time tonight.

I wish I had heard Emmanuel Cleaver on NPR. I may look for that story at its website.

Finally, a real episode of Real Time (not my inner union hack talking, I swear...) !!!

Congresswoman McKaskill, what a nice lady. But I agreed with Bill ripping her for tolerating her daughter calling her names. As an Obama supporter, must we bring out the modern day pussified parents supporting our candidate because the kids say so? Let's keep that on the hush, congresswoman.

Panel was alright. Hachigian's a beauty. Reikhoff is an awesome dude. Sullivan was brilliant as usual.

Frank Luntz is the most annoying fuck in the universe, but he's got a sense of humor. He needed it the way Reikoff handed him his ass. Reikoff wasn't fucking around, either. And, Luntz even joking about the veteran funds being cut? Notice Reikoff giving him the thousand yard stare at that point...That means if he had a gun, he would shoot you, Frank.

New Rules is back (not my inner union hack talking, I swear...) !!!! The porn shot was kind of tacky at the end, though. Hachigian wasn't too thrilled, Reikoff had the, "not cool, Bill", look on his face. Was it just me, or was Maher kind of goofy tonight?

Nonetheless, the show is back in form. What a great episode.

New George Carlin stand up in March.

HBO's "blockbuster" movies have always sucked (except for HBO films, actually. Always Outnumbered, starring Laurence Fishburn, is actually one of my favorite movies).

Real Sports is the ultimate breath of fresh air to the non stop bullshit in the mainstream sports media.

If you can afford HBO, get it. Just with it's programming alone, I believe it's the best network on all of television.

Plus, if you have comcast, on demand episodes of the Sopranos, Six Feet Under, Oz, etc! If you've watched any of these three shows, then you already know they're timeless. I never get tired of watching them when nothing else is on.

This would be number 6. 2 every season.

From the pattern I've gotten, the same person doesn't get to ask a question twice in a row and they get 2 questions a season. The secret is just flood them with one or two sentence questions (Make 10 or so questions) that everyone on the panel is able to give an answer on. Most people make the mistake of posting a paragraph or questions that have been answered before.

And to be perfectly honest, if I do it to get the questions answered and I don't just think of everything off the top of my head to see if I can make it on Overtime. That helps too.

BTW, after rewatching the part with 'Fuck you' Frank Luntz, I could swear, him and Maher would make a comedy gay couple. With the the way they bicker, it reminds me of my parents.

i have 2 degrees, one in english and one in psychology, the latter for children...i worked for several years with programme called scan (suspected child abuse and neglect)...mostly i was assigned out at the little rock air force base, and it was unfuckingbelievable!!!!....i had to quit, i wasn't strong enough...it was eating my soul, i was young and it was turning me in to a horrible, cynical person...what some may call "lazy social workers" etc. would be to someone like me nothing more than a hardened, unable to care person...it's sad...the kids were medicated "for their own good" (read there the parent's own good) and there was nothing i could do to intervene....i would visit these homes, children with fresh bruises or burns, tucked away in a corner doped out of their minds and the parents just preaching the wonders of these drugs their kids were on....i wanted to punch every single one of them in the throat...now, it's only gotten worse...triple sigh!!!!
This is a disturbing trend in our society. We put less and less responsibility on parents, and more and more on government (in the case of prescription drugs, the FDA). It is like the government wants to become the parent of all children, and the parent's are happy to oblige, so they can alleviate responsibility for their own poor parenting and also have more pleasurable lives through child-drug-inebriation.

In most cases of under-age law-breaking, it is the parent's who should be punished, not necessarily the children and certainly not the other members of society (like how we all get punished when we buy alcohol if we don't 'look' of age; damn waste of time and an insult). If kids buy and abuse alcohol, their parent's should be placed in jail... other members of society should not be punished for their poor parenting.

Well I guess we should be glad McKaskill's daughter hasn't joined the KKK and told mom she should help lynch Obambi.
"Gee mom. I'm a kid. How stupid are you to bow to my opinion?"

Not to mention, inside the NFL, Boxing after dark, ....and Curb your enthusiasm...probably the funniest thing on tv.

You need to stop bashing young people...

I know it must hurt when one of your own(bluedogs) up and picks Obama over Hillary, but you need to stop your generational attacks.
