You mean rational? I agree.

Hehe, you heard it here folks. David Frum and Jack Kingston are rational people with rational ideas, according to camp Clinton. Then again at this point they will take any support they can get.

No, it was a problem even before then. The larger, but not only, problem with NAFTA is that it exists outside the laws of the U.S., Mexico and Canada. This is something the "Clintons" knew and accepted when the republican controlled congress allowed for this. Instead, there's an internal body, composed primarily of corporate execs whose trade this board oversees, and they- of course, invariably rule in favor for the corporations over the peopples of all three countries.

This has let to corporations skirting around environmental and labor laws as well as human rights in some instances. All this and "The Clintons" let it stand as that. Matt Taibi give us the sugar coated version of why NAFTA sucks.

What she said (sorry Obamamaniax) was that NAFTA wasn't working. And she'd correct it as president. Taibbi is an idiot who works for Rolling Stone and knows as much about politics and the candidates as Carrot Top but is much less entertaining.

The show was pretty bad last night . Why didn't Bill call out Goober Kingston on mistaking the pledge of allegiance for the national anthem fer cryin' out loud ? Even Taibbi seemed toned down on the cussing , too bad because I kind of liked it that he has an intelligent point of view peppered with the language coming from the reprobate that you cut class with to get high - it's funny ,that's why he's on the show ! And what some see as smugness , I see as being bemused at the opinions of the conservative idiots on the panel . And last night's panel was rife with Bush defending idiots , not a very good new rules segment either . Better luck next week Bill , because unless you have Mos Dumb and that last panel he was on , it would be hard to have a worse show !

I think Mos Def was one of the best guests who has been on Real Time recently. Bill just got all huffy because he can't handle even
the suggestion that there might have been a 9/11 conspiracy.

About the rest, I agree. I am not paying for HBO so I can see the
likes of that simple-minded Kingston, creepy Shum, or vapid Amy Holmes. Bill gets one more chance.

It seems like Bill is having a hard time getting guests these days . Didn't he comment that Al Franken wouldn't appear because he was too controversial ? Politicians and media whores like Amy Holmes desperate for attention or someone promoting a book seem to be all he can attract these days . I believe it all goes back to the appearance of Ingrid Newkirk , the Peta moonbat that Bill admires and follows like Tom Cruise follows his nutball religion . I mean the woman says cowshit causes more pollution than internal combustion engines and powerplants and Bill just sits there and doesn't say a fucking word ! Hard to be irreverent and call others kooks when you appear to one yourself !

You could be on to something with your theory about the Ingrid
Newkirk appearance. I have been a Bill fan since the old Comedy Central days. I always thought he was a dog lover, but he made me mad when he said that a dog is loyal to the last human who gave it
a treat. Can't remember if that was the Newkirk show. Any dog lover knows that is not true.

Peta's reputation is almost worse than Scientology's. The anti-abortionists have a van that tours rallies with a video of a partial
term abortion. Peta has a van that tours rallies with a video of
cows being slaughtered or some such thing.

I like Bill's facial expressions -- but are they worth the price of HBO?

Oftentimes dogs are better judges of people than other people.
