yep...it's a combination of her not wanting to do it out of spite and maybe she's tries to tell herself that she's carving out the "anti-eric" niche

What's wrong with useless drivel? It's a terrible mistake IMO to take your chat board too seriously. There's about a billion or so on the internet.
Most full of useless drivel I might add.

it just boggles my mind how she went from lecturing about having to be civil to being uncivil herself (and in back to back comments by her) but i doubt she'll ban herself for it

People are free to come and go as long as they remain civil.

[I have – in fact, it provides me with a perfect example I use in teaching what a REAL message board should never become – my students cite lack of functionally, cluttering, and endless drivel, among other issues. Makes great classroom fodder to poke fun at; I actually hope it stays around for a bit… I have several technology classes this term to amuse occasionally.]

I'm sure her tuition paying students/parents will be thrilled to know that their hard earned dollars are going towards such a worthy cause.........surfing the net and mocking random message boards for the purpose of amusement during classroom time.

[Thanks Lucytalk, but we employee some of the finest programmers in the world and we are very pleased with what they continue to accomplish. More importantly, our clients are pleased. VBulletin is yesterday’s news. We’ve moved on; we’re looking at even more improvements and add on features for this board. We change with the times; we look to modernize and challenge new ideas.]
