Teri...the Red Oak in my back yard finally changed colors but this year its not as vibrant. Probably because of the drought.

You know, we've had a drought too - been fighting with Georgia over water, but somehow it hasn't seemed to affect the fall colors.

That's beautiful. I didn't know you guys had such a colorful fall in Alabama.

We don't get a lot of different colors here but there's nothing like seeing those Aspen trees change color, especially in the mountains.

It sure helps to make up for the lack of beaches.

We have "mountains," of a sort, so there are massive hillsides (or mountains) that are just gorgeous.

thanks, took that picture on our honeymoon when we went hiking up to clingman's dome in the smokey mountains...couldn't see hardly anything as we were in a cloud the whole day, but the vapor from the clouds clung to the flowers and i was pretty amazed with how the shot came out...

i bet it's simply gorgeous there now, leaf season and all
