John Cusack was great! Love that they discussed Shock Doctrine!!!
"I'm not ready to give up or cede the Constitution of the United States to this bunch of hoodlums." Overall I enjoyed the show tonight. |

Once again enjoyed the interaction/interviews with random people.
The guy that said, "After the last 8 yrs if they dragged someone in off the street, I'd vote for them." And the chic that said she knew she sounded stupid, but she wasn't going to vote. "I don't want to do jury duty." |

It was an interesting show, the who race issue seemed to make Smiley's head explode, almost. But at times when the camera zoomed in on him when other panelists were talking, it was like he was trying to use heat vision or something like that to burn things. Just that intense stare.
Klein fucked up right off the batt by inadvertently telling the Bush Iraq talking point, at least Maher ran him into the ground for that. And he wasn't that insightful overall. I'd rather have Robin Williams who when he takes over the conversation for a joke, he is amusing and does chime in with the rare insightful comment. What really pissed me off was the fact that everyone was in lock step for wanting the primary to continue and no one to really challenge that flawed viewset. Savage half heartedly did, but no one mentioned to Maher if the the nominate was settled at the convention, it gives McCain ample time to set up shop and use the playbook the dems used in 2006. Let the other side self destruct while you just quietly walk out the back door.
